Tahsin Hossain

I am a 3rd year mechanical engineering student at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh. My primary focus is on computational combustion.

I have prevoiusly worked with Fahim Islam Anik to review the application of neural networks for combustion flow-field reconstruction, and currently working with Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam on the application of Functionally Graded Materials (FGM) for shocktube applications.

I am looking for Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) positions for Fall 2027. I am interested in advanced computational tools for combustion.

Modified a Python-based framework to calculate the delta-v for the transfer between the Earth-Moon L2 Lyapunov orbit and Sun-Earth L4 planar orbit. Delivered my findings as a poster presentation on “Transfer between E-M L2 and S-E L4 using Invariant Manifolds.” Secured 3rd place.
